Good to know before you start

AI Council Mode in AI Chat Pro asks several models the same question at once. It compares their answers, shows where they agree and where they differ, and writes one consensus answer with a confidence score. Use it when a single model’s mistake would cost you.

Setting up AI Council Mode

Open the AI Models window and switch on Council Mode in the top corner. Select between two and five models and apply. Mix providers, for example GPT, Claude and Gemini, so the council does not share the same blind spots.

What you get back

Each model answers in parallel. The final answer combines them into one text and adds a confidence score. When the models disagree, you see the points of disagreement, which tells you where to check facts yourself.

Limits to know

Council Mode and Deep Research do not run together, because Deep Research uses its own engine; turning one on switches the other off. Skills are not supported in Council Mode. Council Mode may not be part of every plan.

When to use AI Council Mode

Pricing decisions, legal or tax questions you will check with an expert anyway, a strategy for a product launch, or a claim you want to put on your website. For everyday copy, one model is faster. To simply see two answers next to each other, use multi-model chat.

Founders deciding on prices or a new market. Consultants who want a second and third opinion before they advise a client. Marketers checking a claim before it goes into an ad. Anyone who has been burned by a confident but wrong AI answer and wants a built-in cross-check.

Tips for AI Council Mode

Ask one clear question instead of three in one message. Give the same context you would give a person, such as numbers, market and goal. Treat a low confidence score as a warning sign and look at the disagreements first.
