AI Video Editor is the online video editor in Qyx. It has a multi-track timeline, and it connects to the AI tools in Qyx, so you can generate a clip or a voiceover and put it straight on the timeline.
Editing on the timeline
You start a project with a name and an aspect ratio. In the Library you upload your own media files. On the timeline you add tracks, split clips and delete the parts you don’t need. Text adds titles as their own layer, and Layers shows everything in the project. When you are done, you save the project and export the video.
AI inside the online video editor
The AI panel generates new clips with the same models as AI Video Pro, for example Veo 3.1 text to video, with options for length, resolution, aspect ratio and sound. The Voice panel turns text into a voiceover. You pick the language, the voice and the pace, and paste up to 5,000 characters of text.
Where clips come from
AI Captions and UGC Creator have an Open AI Video Editor button, so a video you make there goes straight to the editor. That way you can join several generated clips into one ad, add a voiceover and export the final file.
When to use another tool
If you’d rather describe the edit than do it by hand, AI Auto Video Edit edits your footage from a prompt. For animated captions on vertical videos, use AI Captions. To generate the clips themselves, start in AI Video Pro.
